Neopolitan VS Parasoul (RWBY VS Skullgirls)

(Honey Ad)

(The arena lights up as Ringmaster is walking the steps to get to the top of the platform. Once on top, he walks toward the center of the platform while the mic is being lowered. At the center, Ringmaster takes the mic. The audience screams in excitement, and Ringmaster smiles. His teeth give off a small sparkle.)

Ringmaster: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to MY arena! Where there’s NO RULES, NO RESEARCH, ONLLLLLLLLLLY BLOODSHED! I am Ringmaster! Your announcer, your host extraordinaire for this extravaganza! And let me welcome you to the EXHIBITION!!!!!!!

Ringmaster: In today's match, you all better take out your umbrellas! Because these two girls are going to make this fight rain blood!

(A hologram of Neopolitan lights up on the left side of the screen. Ringmaster spins around and points in that direction.)

Ringmaster: In this corner, we have Remnant’s most deadliest mute. Roman Torchwick’s most trustworthy partner. Neopolitan!

(Ringmaster spins around and points in the opposite direction as a hologram of Parasoul pops up from there.)

Ringmaster: And in this corner, we have the crowned princess of the Canopy Kingdom. The wielder of the living weapon Krieg. Parasoul!

Ringmaster: Let's size up the competition! While we don’t know exactly what her backstory is, what we do know is that Neo is a force to be reckoned with. Make fun of her short height all you want, but the moment you mess with her partner Roman, you’re gonna find yourself ending up dead, pal. Speaking of which, what exactly is their relationship? Coworkers? Father and daughter? Best friends? Lovers? Who knows, but we’ll probably find out some day. Regardless, Neo’s one of the few RWBY villains who can get the job done, whether it’s fighting highschool girls, saving her boss from getting beaten up by a bunch of highschool girls, or beating up a bunch of teenagers to steal a genie lamp. She’s a fierce fighter who loves to mess around with her opponents and trick them into making complete fools out of themselves. Wonder if April Fool’s is her favorite holiday?

(Chibi Ringmaster is opening a present that’s colored pink, brown and white. When he opens it, he’s hit with a pie to the face with a sign that says “April Fool’s!”)

Ringmaster: Let’s not forget about Parasoul though. She’s a strict, no nonsense princess of the Canopy Kingdom. With a strong sense of justice and a personal army at her command, Parasoul cleans up the streets from evil doers. I mean, it’s something you kind of have to do when your mother gets corrupted by an evil skull. And with the threat of a new Skullgirl terrorizing the kingdom, you know Parasoul is the first person to jump into action. After all, she does have the combat capabilities and qualities to accomplish such a feat. Too bad that in her own story mode, she’s going to end up as the new Skullgirl in the future. Luckily, she’s training her younger sister Umbrella to fight her when that time comes! Wait, that’s actually pretty dark if you think about it. She’s making sure her sister is going to kill her in the future. Kind of a bittersweet ending if you ask me. Maybe some ice cream might cheer me up.

(Chibi Ringmaster is eating a tub of neapolitan ice cream while weeping tears anime-style.)

Ringmaster: Getting back to Neo, she’s armed with a parasol of all things, but it can perform many functions. It can act as both an offensive weapon and a defensive one. It can block fireballs, bullets, and even explosions! Plus, it has a hidden blade that can be taken out or be extended from. In addition, Neo possesses Aura just like everyone else on Remnant. With it, she can make herself unkillable! But it’s not an infinite supply. However, her Aura can also be used to power her Semblance, Overactive Imagination. A creative name for a power that requires creative use! She can create physical illusions of herself and allies to distract enemies in combat, teleport, change her appearance, and even disguise herself as other people. A perfect ability to save money on clothes.

(Chibi Ringmaster is changing the color schemes of his outfit similar to Neo’s semblance.)

Ringmaster: Parasoul is not out of this fight just yet though! While she doesn’t have any special powers, Parasoul does carry the living weapon Krieg. Whether or not it’s actually sentient is up to debate, but this baby can shed napalm with explosive results! In addition, it has a sharp blade and can be used to float like Mary Poppins. If that ain’t enough, Parasoul is also packing some heat with a Luger P08, a German 9mm semi-automatic pistol. And if she’s in any trouble, this princess can call upon her personal army for some help, though I doubt that’ll be allowed here since this is strictly a one on one fight.

(Chibi Ringmaster wearing an army uniform takes out a walkie talkie, but its antenna snaps in half.)

Ringmaster: But enough talk! Which one of these lovely ladies will take home the win? Was it a good idea to bring an umbrella? Time to find out who’ll make blood rain! So without further ado, let the exhibition BEEEGGGIIIIIINNN!!!

The setting takes place in New Meridian, one of the greatest cities in the Canopy Kingdom. Its citizens have been encouraged to stay indoors due to reported sightings of a mysterious and dangerous threat known as the Skullgirl. However, because people were told to stay inside their homes, that meant stores and shops had to be closed as well. Unfortunately for the kingdom, this became a perfect opportunity for a particular duo to enact their criminal deeds.

Roman Torchwick: Mwa ha ha ha ha! Isn’t this great, Neo? With everyone scared inside their homes because of this Skullgirl person, all the valuables are ripe for the taking! Money! Jewelry! Our biggest score yet!

Neo happily nods at her partner, giggling for a moment. The short mute is trying on different jewelry in front of a mirror. The criminal duo has already robbed a bank not too long ago, and right now they’re robbing a jewelry store. Roman points Melodic Cudgel at a safe and shoots it open, allowing the crook to retrieve its contents and dump them into a bag. The partners in crime are having the time of their lives. That is until the sounds of sirens can be heard from outside the store.

Roman Torchwick: Damn it! They’re here already?!

Neo gives a little pout at their fun being ruined by the authorities. She quickly removes the jewelry off her person and stuffs them in a bag. Meanwhile, Roman looks through the store’s display window to see what kind of trouble they’re dealing with. Outside the jewelry store they’re robbing is Parasoul and a small group of soldiers at her command, the Black Egrets.

Roman Torchwick: Really, a military squad?! Wait, why do they have a big robot with them?

Neo curiously stares at her partner, who’s gritting his teeth at the sight of their enemies. A mix of annoyance and confusion is shown on his face. This hasn’t been the first time someone tried to stop them for their crimes. Usually a team of huntresses-in-training would be the ones doing the job, but Roman and Neo aren’t in Vale anymore. This is a different kingdom after all. However, Neo’s determined not to let anything happen to Roman. She’s not going to allow some squadron get in their way.

Outside the jewelry store, Parasoul and the Black Egrets are stationed outside while waiting for the criminals’ next move. They failed to catch them at the bank they robbed, but they were able to track them down to this location. One of the Black Egrets members, Molly, walks up to the crowned princess and salutes her.

Molly: Commander Parasoul! I have just received confirmation that the people inside the store responsible for robbing the bank are wanted criminals from the Kingdom of Vale, Roman Torchwick and Neopolitan!

Parasoul: I see. Kind of strange why they’re here since it’s a long way from home. No matter. They’re just a couple of crooks taking advantage of the panic caused by the Skullgirl. We need to capture them quickly so we can resume our search for her.

Suddenly, the jewelry store’s front door opens and a large dust crystal is tossed at the military squad. One of the Black Egrets soldiers aims his gun at the crystal and shoots, believing it to be a bomb. However, this proved to be a mistake as the crystal creates a powerful explosion once the bullet has made contact. The resulting blast sent the Black Egrets flying and knocked them out. The only ones left standing are Parasoul and the robot Panzerfaust.

However, Melodic Cudgel pops out of the store’s entrance and fires a red flare at Panzerfaust, pushing the robot back. The cane continues to fire more flares in quick succession before shooting a red wave of energy, which knocks back Panzerfaust and sends him crashing into a building behind him. Walking out of the jewelry store are Roman and Neo with the stolen valuables in their possession. The former develops a smug grin on his face.

Roman Torchwick: So much for our welcoming party, but there's still one left. We should take her down, unless she knows what's good for her.

Parasoul: As princess of the Canopy Kingdom, it's my duty to protect the streets from criminals like you. Neither of you two are going anywhere as you're both under arrest!

Roman Torchwick: I'd like to see you try, "your highness."

While Roman is busy taunting the princess, Parasoul aims Krieg at the crook and fires a napalm shot at him. Roman's eyes widen as he's sent crashing through the jewelry store's display window. A painful groan can be heard from within the shop as Roman falls unconscious. Neo looks at the state of her partner with worry.

Parasoul: I advise you to surrender unless you want to end up like your partner.

Neo growls with anger and sends a hateful glare at Parasoul, taking out Hush and extending its blade. She's going to make the so-called princess pay for hurting Roman.

Parasoul: If that's your choice, then fine by me.

Parasoul vertically slashes the mute with Krieg, but Neo easily blocks the weapon with Hush. The mute smirks, seemingly taunting her opponent. Parasoul isn’t going to have it though as she attempts to attack with a strong kick to Neo’s midsection. However, the mute anticipated the attack and leapt over Parasoul before the kick could connect. Landing behind the princess, Neo performs a roundhouse kick that knocks Parasoul off her feet. Grunting, Parasoul gets up and shoots her Luger pistol at Neo.

Neo reacts by opening her parasol, blocking the bullet. Parasoul continued to shoot her Luger pistol, but none of the bullets could penetrate Hush. Neo dashes toward the princess with Hush still open while aiming the blade at her. Not wanting to be stabbed, Parasoul jumps into the air and successfully escapes the incoming stab. While still in the air, the princess aims Krieg’s blade at Neo and goes for a diving stab. To Parasoul’s surprise, Neo shatters into a pile of glass when the blade pierced her body.

As the princess tries to inspect the pile of glass, the mute appears out of nowhere and knocks her back with a harsh dropkick. After attacking her opponent by surprise, Neo follows it up with multiple hits using Hush. For Parasoul, it’s hard for her to recover while getting smacked in the face with a parasol. After another hard hit from Hush pushes her back, the princess stabs Krieg’s blade into the ground. Neo goes for a thrust with Hush, but a pillar of napalm erupts from the ground and connects the mute with a direct hit.

With the mute momentarily in the air, Parasoul fires a Napalm Shot that sends her into a wall. Luckily for the mute, her Aura has protected her from serious injuries. The princess fires another Napalm Shot, but “Neo” shatters into glass again. Parasoul takes a step back, trying to figure out where her opponent will appear next. Neo attacks from above, landing an axe kick on the princess. Parasoul goes down, but she’s not out yet. She attacks Neo with a sweep kick, but the mute dodges by performing a backflip.

However, this gives Parasoul a new opportunity as she takes out her Luger pistol and fires at the mute. Neo sees the incoming bullet and narrowly evades it, shooting a glare at the princess. The two combatants attack each other at once, causing their weapons to clash upon impact. Neo and Parasoul begin to parry their weapons, trying to get past each other’s defenses. They jump back and thrust the blades of their weapons at each other, aiming for the face. Both move their heads out of the way in time. Parasoul points her Luger pistol at her opponent’s head and fires, but the mute bends her head back to avoid the shot.

Neo jumps into a backflip, kicking Parasoul’s chin along the way. Rubbing her chin, the princess fires another Napalm Shot at the mute. Neo turns around and opens Hush behind her, blocking the blast. Parasoul growls, seeing the act as nothing more than a taunt. She would be right as Neo has a smug smile on her face. The princess lunges Krieg for a fierce stab, but Neo spins her body out of the way. She jabs the back of Parasoul’s head with Hush’s handle, angering the princess. Parasoul turns around and swings Krieg horizontally at her opponent, but Neo flips over the attack and lands on Parasoul’s shoulders.

The mute jumps off and hooks Hush’s handle onto Krieg, swinging her body between Parasoul’s legs. This act flips the princess into the air a few feet above the ground. With her opponent helpless for the time being, Neo performs a spin kick that lands a devastating blow onto Parasoul’s back. The princess is sent flying into one of the Black Egrets’ motorcycles. The mute gives her opponent a mocking bow, believing the fight to finally be over. She turns around and starts to head back towards the jewelry store to retrieve Roman.

However, the sound of an engine roaring interrupts her, and Neo turns to see Parasoul on a motorcycle. Holding Krieg like a lance, the princess hits the pedal and drives the motorcycle towards the mute. Parasoul fires a couple of Napalm Shots at her opponent, who easily shields herself by opening Hush in front of her. The princess rams the motorcycle into Neo, who shatters into glass again upon impact. Parasoul swerves the motorcycle around before pressing the brakes.

Neo is standing on the road once again, smirking at her opponent. Parasoul revs up the motorcycle’s engine before hitting the pedal. The princess fires more Napalm Shots from Krieg, but the mute once again uses Hush as a shield. Parasoul increases the speed of her motorcycle, hoping to ram into Neo before she could perform one of her illusion tricks again. To the princess’ surprise though, the mute starts running towards her. Parasoul holds Krieg back, readying for an attack. As the two get closer, Neo leaps into a jump kick while Parasoul thrusts her weapon forward for another fierce stab.

While the princess isn’t surprised that her opponent once again shattered into glass, she is caught off guard by the fact that the Neo clone carried enough momentum to knock her off the motorcycle. As Parasoul lands harshly on the street, her motorcycle bounces forward (due to no longer having a driver) before crashing. As the princess slowly gets up, she can feel her body starting to ache. A femine giggle catches her attention, and Parasoul sees Neo walking towards her while carrying Hush over her shoulders.

Parasoul: Just how long are you going to keep relying on those tricks of yours?

Neo says nothing and simply forms a smirk on her face. However, it changes to a sinister grin as the mute runs towards her, thrusting Hush's blade at her. Parasoul stabs Krieg into the ground, generating a napalm shockwave that knocks Neo back. The princess isn't done as a pillar of napalm erupts from under Neo and sends the mute into the air after hitting her. Parasoul leaps into the air after her opponent and strikes her down with a vertical slash from Krieg. Neo crashes onto the road, but her Aura protects her from any serious injuries.

Parasoul goes for another diving stab, but Neo rolls out of the way in time. Krieg is stabbed into the ground instead of the mute. However, the princess is perfectly fine with this outcome as another pillar of napalm erupts from the ground at Neo. The mute manages to evade it, but another pillar erupts beneath her. Neo avoids it as well, but Parasoul forces her to go on the defensive by summoning more napalm pillars. At the same time, the princess is also firing her Luger pistol at the mute. She's pressuring her opponent into making a mistake.

An idea popped inside Neo's head after dodging another pillar of napalm. Predicting the next eruption, the mute hops into the air while opening Hush underneath her. A new napalm pillar erupts under her, sending her into the air. However, she's safe from damage thanks to using Hush as a shield. While in the air, Neo dives herself towards Parasoul for a new attack. Seeing her oncoming opponent, the princess summons another pillar of napalm. Unfortunately for her, Neo shatters into glass after getting hit by the pillar.

Neo appears next to Parasoul and hits her with a front kick, forcing the princess to pull Krieg out of the ground. Parasoul swings her weapon's blade at her opponent, but the mute flips over the weapon and delivers a double kick to the princess' face. Parasoul staggers back with her lips bloodied from the hit. Growling, the princess lunges for another stab, but Neo flips over Krieg and lands behind her opponent. Afterwards, she hooks Hush's handle onto one of Parasoul's legs and flips her over. With her opponent momentarily in the air, Neo pierces Hush's blade into the ground for footing and delivers a powerful dropkick on the princess.

Parasoul hits the ground after receiving the hit and immediately gets back up. She lunges for another stab, but Neo opens Hush to redirect the attack. The mute spins her body around, rolling off the princess’ back. She kicks her opponent’s leg, forcing her onto her knees. Neo goes for a fierce stab of her own, but Parasoul manages to block it with Krieg at the last second. As the mute tries to push through, the princess takes out her Luger pistol and points the gun inches away from Neo’s face. Without any hesitation, Parasoul pulls the trigger and Neo’s head jerks back as it’s struck by the bullet. Her Aura flickers from the powerful gunshot as her body collapses on the ground.

Black Egrets Soldiers: Commander!

A couple of soldiers from the Black Egrets rush towards Parasoul, kneeling down and checking her for any injuries. They help her get up, dusting her off. The princess turns her attention to them.

Parasoul: I’m fine. Status report.

Black Egrets Soldier #1: We regained consciousness, but the rest of the Black Egrets are still out of commission. Reinforcement has been called and shouldn’t take long to arrive.

Parasoul: Good. Help me apprehend the crim- Wait, where is she?

Parasoul is shocked. She took her eyes off of Neo for a few seconds and now finds her body to be missing. The princess looks around for her opponent.

Parasoul: Where did that criminal go?!

Black Egrets Soldier #2: She’s gone?! But she was here just a minute ago!

Parasoul: Be careful! She can attack from anywhere.

While Parasoul and their soldiers are looking around for an attack from Neo, Molly approaches the group. The princess immediately sees her.

Parasoul: Molly, thank goodness you’re here! Be on the lookout. The enemy is still active.

Molly nods as Parasoul turns her focus to another direction. Unknown to the princess, “Molly” forms a sinister grin on her face and slowly pulls out a Luger pistol. Quick as lightning, she guns down the Black Egrets soldiers that joined Parasoul and they fall to the ground dead. Before the princess could react, she also gets shot but nonlethally. The action causes her to drop Krieg as Parasoul is in utter shock. She places a hand on her stomach, which is where she was shot, and feels her blood coming out from the wound. She looks back at Molly, her trusted comrade from the Black Egrets.

Much to Parasoul’s horror, “Molly’s” appearance changes and the girl is revealed to be none other than Neopolitan. The princess tries to grab Krieg, but the mute shoots her arm and sends her staggering back. The gunshot forces a painful scream from Parasoul’s mouth. Knowing that reinforcements for the Black Egrets are on their way, Neo continues to fire the Luger pistol at the princess. Every shot forces Parasoul back, separating her from her army. However, the shooting only lasted for a few more seconds before the Luger pistol ran out of bullets. Tossing the useless weapon aside, the mute decides that it’s time to finish off her opponent once and for all.

Neo cartwheels towards the bloodied and injured Parasoul before jumping into the air and landing into a handstand on top of the princess’ head. Using her momentum, the mute flips her body while simultaneously throwing her opponent into the air. As Parasoul falls, Neo takes out Hush and mercilessly beats her opponent with it. She lands a big hit on the defenseless princess before shattering into glass and attacking her from a different direction. The mute continuously repeats this princess while not allowing Parasoul any time to recover. Throughout the series of attacks, Neo would alternate between using Hush and her legs to beat down her opponent. She finishes it off by throwing Parasoul into the air and waiting for the princess to fall before landing a devastating spin kick on her back. This sends Parasoul flying, but Neo shatters into glass and appears at the direction the princess is heading. The mute pulls back Hush and thrusts it forward for a harsh jab on Parasoul, flipping her body over Neo until she lands painfully on the ground. With her opponent lying on the street defeated, Neo casually walks over to her. She pulls out Hush’s handle, revealing the long hidden blade. The mute raises the thin blade upward and drives it down until it pierces Parasoul’s chest, killing her instantly.

With her job done, Neo picks up Krieg and holds it alongside Hush. She jumps back, teleporting away from the scene and back into the jewelry store where Roman is at. Her partner slowly regains consciousness, surprised to see Neo covered in Parasoul’s blood and holding a new weapon along with her own. She helps him up while also grabbing their bags of stolen valuables. Afterwards, Roman and Neo shatter into piles of glass, showing that the mute has used Overactive Imagination to make a successful escape for them.

Ringmaster: Woah ho ho! Talk about a dominant fight! Next time though is sure to get you hyped as it’s an East vs West showdown between two badass swordsmen. The link to vote for the winner of that exhibition is in the description below.

Tanjiro VS Goblin Slayer (Demon Slayer VS Goblin Slayer)

Ringmaster: In today's match, we're having a battle between slayers! Instead of demons and goblins, they'll be trying to kill each other!

(A hologram of Tanjiro Kamado lights up on the left side of the screen. Ringmaster spins around and points in that direction.)

Ringmaster: In this corner, we have the kind and honorable but fierce swordsman. The Demon Slayer himself. Tanjiro Kamado!

(Ringmaster spins around and points in the opposite direction as a hologram of Goblin Slayer pops up from there.)

Ringmaster: And in this corner, we have the mysterious knight in shining armor. The man who will only accept goblin killing quests. Goblin Slayer!

Ringmaster: Let's size up the competition! Tanjiro is a skilled and deadly swordsman, and one of the many members of the Demon Slayer Corps. However, things didn't start out well for him in the beginning as he lost his entire family to a demon attack. It's pretty horrifying actually. The only survivor is his younger sister Nezuko, who's one of the most adorable girls in anime and also became a demon as well. Yikes! But that's why Tanjiro joined the Demon Slayer Corps. To find a way to turn his sister back into a human and to avenge his family by killing the demon responsible, who is actually Michael Jackson for some reason. Anime can be really weird. Like every Shonen protagonist though, this kid trained like Hell to become stronger. And thanks to being a Corps member, Tanjiro's armed with a unique sword specialized in slaying demons. Given the time period of this anime, he can't exactly rip and tear in the similar manner of a certain other demon slayer.

(Chibi Ringmaster is dressed up in gear that can be found in Doom Eternal. He's swinging one of Doom Slayer's weapons like a maniac.)

Ringmaster: Let’s not forget about Goblin Slayer though! Just like Tanjiro, he also lost his family to a horrific slaughter but to a goblin raid instead of a single demon attack. Normally, those little things are weak and harmless, but not in this anime! These nasty gremlins are the types of monsters you don’t want to face alone. They’re basically the type of goblins you would face in an average D&D campaign. But Goblin Slayer is the type of player who rolls Nat 20s when it comes to fighting these little creeps. After the death of his family, this guy trained 5 years for a life of vengeance against the entire Goblin race. Not sure how he’s going to accomplish that especially since he thinks goblins come from the moon. But regardless of how impossible his goal sounds, his vengeance is so great, he’ll only accept quests that involve killing goblins. You can ask him to join you in other types of quests all you want, but he’s not gonna budge. Now that’s what I call determination. Or stubbornness, if that’s how some of you want to see it as.

(Chibi Ringmaster is looking through quest posters while dressed in a suit of armor. He finds one with a picture of a goblin and holds it up high.)

Ringmaster: Going back to Tanjiro, this kid can keep up with demons thanks to his training in breathing techniques. Who knew breathing can make you stronger and faster, am I right? With these bending techniques, he swings his sword like he’s bending the elements. However, it should be stated that he’s not actually controlling fire or water. They’re just animation effects. But super breathing isn’t enough for Tanjiro to combat deadly demons. He’s armed with the Nichirin Blade, a special sword forged from a special ore that’s constantly bathed in sun’s rays. Perfect to slay monsters weak to sunlight.

(Chibi Ringmaster uses a Nichirin Blade to stab a vampire, who crumbles into dust after getting stabbed with the weapon.)

Ringmaster: Don’t forget about Goblin Slayer though! When it comes to slaying goblins, he’s a master strategist. He plans ahead and sets up traps for those little rascals, which usually ends up succeeding along with some collateral damage. Whoops. Despite that, this guy also likes to get close and personal with goblins. To do that, he’s armed to the teeth with all sorts of weapons and gears. He’s got light armor, a short sword, throwing knives, a buckler shield, potions, smoke bombs, slingshots, and many more. He’s basically a medieval Batman, except he prefers to fight only goblins.

(Chibi Ringmaster is holding up a wanted criminal poster of a goblin while a pile of other wanted posters is lying on the ground behind him.)

Ringmaster: But enough talk! Which of these slayers will end up slain? How will they perform against a fellow human instead of a monster? Let’s put their hard work and determination to the test! So without further ado, let the exhibition BEEEGGGIIIIIINNN!!!

The setting starts in the woods where Goblin Slayer is traveling. He’s looking at a poster for a new goblin quest. The poster contains the location where the goblins’ lair should be at. Once he got to the supposed location however, he found dozens of goblins lying dead on the ground. The one responsible for this massacre is none other than the demon girl Nezuko, who’s standing above the goblin corpses.

The demon girl has a look of rage on her face. She has a short white horn on the right side of her forehead and vein-like patterns appearing around her left eye. In addition, a red and green vine-like pattern is covering her skin, circling around her arms, legs, and chest. Her claws are dripping with the blood of the goblins she had slain. Goblin Slayer can already tell by Nezuko’s appearance that she isn’t human.

Goblin Slayer slowly takes out his short sword, but Nezuko takes notice of the action and growls at the armored man. Goblin Slayer raises his shield and waits for an attack. In a blink of an eye, Nezuko leaps at him. Just as the armored man swings his sword at the demon girl, Tanjiro suddenly appears between the two and blocks Goblin Slayer's sword with his own.

Tanjiro: Nezuko, run!

Nezuko nods and flees from the scene while Tanjiro pushes Goblin Slayer back. Seeing that the boy plans on fighting him, Goblin Slayer raises his buckler shield in a defensive position and rushes towards Tanjiro. He swings his short sword horizontally at the demon slayer, who dodges the attack by jumping into a backflip. After landing on his feet, Tanjiro rushes towards the silver-ranked adventurer and brings his sword to a downward slash on him. However, Goblin Slayer kept his shield up and blocked the strike.

Tanjiro: Total Concentration! Water Breathing! Second Form: Water Wheel!

Tanjiro jumps over his opponent, spinning in midair while the animation shows the water effect. While spinning in midair, Tanjiro kept on striking at his opponent. Unfortunately for him, Goblin Slayer uses his shield to keep himself covered. Seeing his opponent landing on the ground once more, the adventurer throws a pair of throwing knives at the young boy. Taking a deep breath, Tanjiro deflects the knives with ease. The demon slayer rushes towards his opponent once more, and Goblin Slayer keeps his shield up. However, Tanjiro jumps up and performs a jump kick. While the shield did block the kick, the attack still provided enough force to push back Goblin Slayer.

The silver-ranked adventurer isn't done though as he takes out one of his smoke bombs and throws it at Tanjiro. The demon slayer slices through the bomb with ease, but smoke from the bomb sprays onto his eyes. With his opponent now blinded, Goblin Slayer rushes forward and rams Tanjiro with his shield. In addition, the armored adventurer picks up a wooden club belonging to one of the goblin corpses and slams it into Tanjiro's stomach before smacking it across the boy's face.

After the hit though, the blinded Tanjiro starts sniffing. Goblin Slayer swings the wooden club, but the demon slayer ducks out of the way despite his lack of eyesight. Tanjiro's incredible sense of smell is allowing him to track his opponent and the movements he's making. To the demon slayer, Goblin Slayer smells like the combination of rusted metal and goblin blood. As Goblin Slayer goes for another swing, Tanjiro instantly slices through the wooden weapon. With the club now useless, the adventurer tosses aside what's left of it and takes out his short sword once more.

Both slayers go on the offensive. Their swords clashing against one another. As they continue fighting, Tanjiro finds himself being pushed back. Even with his breathing techniques, the demon slayer is having a tough time getting past Goblin Slayer’s defenses. Meanwhile, Goblin Slayer swings his short sword downward on his opponent. Tanjiro manages to block the weapon in time, but this leaves the demon slayer wide open for Goblin Slayer to connect a powerful push kick to Tanjiro’s torso. It knocks the boy back hard enough for him to hit a nearby tree. Goblin Slayer isn’t done yet though as the adventurer runs towards the boy and attempts a horizontal slash at him. However, Tanjiro ducks and rolls out of the way before the sword could cut him. Instead, the sword has cut deep into the tree.

Tanjiro: Total Concentration! Water Breathing! Seventh Form: Drop Ripple Thrust Curve!

With a new change of breath, Tanjiro instantly thrusts his sword into one of the few openings within Goblin Slayer’s armor. The animation once again shows the water effect. The silver-ranked adventurer is caught off guard by the attack, feeling a good amount of pain as the blade pierces into his body. Despite that, Goblin Slayer didn’t falter and lands a left hook across Tanjiro’s face. Before the boy could get a chance to recover, the adventurer bashes his head with the buckler shield. It’s enough to knock the demon slayer onto the ground, and Goblin Slayer tries to stab his downed opponent.

Tanjiro: Total Concentration! Water Breathing! Sixth Form: Whirlpool!

Tanjiro fiercely twists his upper and lower body, narrowly avoiding the fatal stab. The animation shows the water effect mimicking an actual whirlpool. The demon slayer gets back up, twisting and spinning his body completely 360 degrees. While performing the maneuver, Tanjiro swings his sword at Goblin Slayer’s thighs and leaves deep cuts in them. The silver-ranked adventurer nearly collapses from the attack while the demon slayer is back standing. With another change in breath, Tanjiro changes his stance and thrusts his sword into his opponent’s right shoulder. Goblin Slayer is forced to drop his short sword as more blood soaks his clothing.

However, Goblin Slayer still has some fight in him. He grabs one of Tanjiro’s wrists and headbutts him with his helmet on. With his opponent dazed, the adventurer swings his shield at him. Unknown to him, the demon slayer smells the incoming attack and jumps backward to dodge it. Despite getting some distance, the shield manages to make some contact and leaves a noticeable bloody cut on Tanjiro’s forehead. Goblin Slayer isn’t done yet though as he charges towards the demon slayer and tackles him, using his buckler shield as a battering ram.

Tanjiro is tackled into another tree, which snaps upon impact. The demon slayer can feel his back roaring with pain while Goblin Slayer is starting to feel exhausted himself. Tanjiro grabs his opponent by his shoulders and delivers a headbutt of his own. While his helmet did provide protection from the attack, Goblin Slayer felt his head getting dizzy from the impact. Taking this opportunity, the demon slayer begins a series of sword swipes at his opponent. While Goblin Slayer's armor still holds up, Tanjiro's sword is leaving some noticeable marks on it. The multiple strikes is pushing Goblin Slayer back due to the breathing techniques boosting Tanjiro's strength.

Tanjiro: Total Concentration! Water Breathing! Eight Form: Waterfall Basin!

Tanjiro runs up and jumps, swinging his sword vertically downward at his opponent. However, Goblin Slayer raises his shield over himself, successfully blocking the incoming strike. He pushes the demon slayer upward and follows it up with a horizontal slash, cutting through Tanjiro’s clothes and leaving a large gash on his torso. Tanjiro coughs up some blood before Goblin Slayer backhands him with the buckler shield smashing across the demon slayer’s face. Tanjiro is flung back as blood gushes out from his nose before hitting the ground with a harsh thud. He looks up, seeing an eerie red light glowing from with Goblin Slayer’s helmet. Gritting his teeth, the demon slayer takes another deep breath.

Tanjiro: Total Concentration! Water Breathing! Tenth Form: Constant Flux!

Rising up, Tanjiro runs towards his opponent with his sword raised high. The animation shows the water effect taking the form of an Eastern dragon. Goblin Slayer takes out some more knives and throws them at the incoming demon slayer. However, Tanjiro rotates his body and easily slices through the knives like butter. The demon slayer continues the rotation, getting closer to his opponent. As Tanjiro swings his sword at him, Goblin Slayer holds up his shield for protection. To his surprise, the Nichirin Blade is able to cut into the metal. In addition, the blow from the strike sent the silver-ranked adventurer a few feet back. Noticing this newfound strength from his opponent, Goblin Slayer decides to add more power to his strikes.

Their swords clash, but Tanjiro wouldn’t stop his attack. Every time his sword bounces off Goblin Slayer’s short sword, the demon slayer would rotate into another swing. The silver-ranked adventurer found himself having trouble reacting to each new swing in time. It’s as if his opponent is performing one continuous attack. It doesn’t help that each new strike is becoming more powerful than the previous. After another sword swing from Tanjiro, Goblin Slayer attempts to punch the boy. However, the demon slayer rotates his body to dodge and appears behind the silver-ranked adventurer. Tanjiro slashes through his opponent’s armor, making a long cut on his back.

The demon slayer rotates for another slash, but Goblin Slayer turns around and hits Tanjiro with a hard uppercut. The hit knocked the demon slayer off his feet, forcing him to release his sword. As the Nichirin Blade clatters on the ground, Goblin Slayer places his foot on it and snaps it in half. The silver-ranked adventurer raises his short sword and prepares to end the fight. Just as he’s about to plunge his weapon into his opponent, Nezuko jumps in front of her brother and uses her body to shield him. Tanjiro watches in horror as his younger sister sacrifices herself, allowing the sword to impale her. Even Goblin Slayer himself is surprised by the sudden act. Even though her bamboo muzzle is covering her mouth, Nezuko coughs out quite an amount of blood. Her blood is splattered on Goblin Slayer’s sword and armor. The demon girl raises her right hand weakly while glaring at the adventurer.

Nezuko: Blood… Demon... Art.... Exploding… Blood!

Nezuko’s blood suddenly engulfed into flames before exploding, destroying Goblin Slayer’s short sword and sending the adventurer back flying. After performing her Blood Demon Art, Nezuko collapses but is caught in Tanjiro’s arms. The demon girl looks up at her older brother and gently touches his face. However, Nezuko suddenly goes limp as life has seemingly left her body. Tears flow from Tanjiro’s eyes as he stares at his sister’s dead boy. He gently lays her down and grabs what’s left of his Nichirin Blade, silently glaring at Goblin Slayer. The front side of the adventurer’s armor has been blown off, which revealed his bruised and bloodied body, and several areas of his clothing have been torn off. Getting back up, the demon slayer rushes towards his downed opponent as he plans on avenging his sister.

Tanjiro: Total Concentration! Hinokami Kagura!

The animation now shows a fire effect taking the form of an Eastern dragon just like the previous water effect. Goblin Slayer, regaining consciousness, sees Tanjiro heading towards him with murderous intent. Standing back on his feet, the adventurer picks up a pair of short swords that belonged to a couple of dead goblins nearby. The eerie red light from within his helmet now glows even brighter. With his fighting spirit renewed, Goblin Slayer rushes towards his opponent as well. The silver-ranked adventurer raises the buckler shield as Tanjiro swings his broken sword at him, but to his surprise, the demon slayer slices the shield in half and even cuts deep into his forearm.

Goblin Slayer jumps back and swings one of the short swords at Tanjiro. However, the young boy cuts the incoming weapon in half and slices the broken Nichirin Blade across the adventurer’s chest. With one sword left, Goblin Slayer attempts to stab the demon slayer and end the fight quickly. Unfortunately for him, Tanjiro spins around him and slashes his back. The result is the back part of his armor being cut apart and a deep gash is left on the adventurer’s back. Goblin Slayer falls onto his knee due to his injuries beginning to overwhelm him. With his opponent down, Tanjiro takes in another breath of air as he prepares to deliver the killing blow. He sees the thread connected to the adventurer.

Just as the demon slayer swings down his weapon, Goblin Slayer instantly turns around and throws another smoke bomb at Tanjiro’s face. The young boy falls into a coughing fit as he accidentally inhales some of the smoke, causing himself to lose concentration. He’s unable to see Goblin Slayer rising back up and driving the short sword into his body with the blade piercing one of his lungs. Tanjiro coughs a large amount of blood, which splatters on the adventurer’s helmet, and collapses onto the ground. Goblin Slayer falls onto the ground as his body becomes fully exhausted. He takes out a healing potion and drinks it, resting while the liquid heals his injuries.
